'A Bit of Vintage'

Mmmmmmmmmmmm! Love the vintage goodness of all the 30 bits in this one! Yes, indeed a bit different from me.These image bits come from one of my own personal art journals! If you remember back when I created the Black-White and Red art journal using an old vintage scrapbook I had purchased...Well this is where these bits come from! They come in generous sizes where you could use for small backgrounds, the layered look or even borders!!! Fun fun fun!

Don't worry, there will be more wild, wacky and colorful kits to come!! I haven't totally lost it!....Yet! LOL

Stay tuned!! There will be a twist on this kit coming later this week!! Curious? hee hee

The main reason of this post is I wanted to shout out a BIG THANK YOU...To all my customers, my Creative Team, the Design Team, Tara at DeviantScrap for creating my wonderfully COOL blinkie and family and friends, for making my debut a wonderful success and for supporting me in this new endeavor!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!! This week was a whirlwind but wonderful all at the same time! Even if my back is killing me! LOL I really had a great time!!!!!!!

Come and join in the fun! It's a CELEBRATION!!!

Today is the day! I am letting the cat out of the bag, coming out of the closet....all the secretiveness...all the quietness and hush hush stuff will end right now!!

Today is my debut as the newest designer Crowabout StudioB at DeviantScrap.com !!! Yup!! Lil ol me!! A designer of all things! Are you shocked?! I know I am! lol When they got ahold of me and asked me, right of the bat I said, "Heck YA"! Wow! Then came the whole learning process of Photoshop! OMG! It was crazy and tedious at first...and quite nerve racking! But I pulled it off! I have 7 New kits in the shoppe ! And of course there are some FREEBIES involved! There is tons of inspiration to be had! There are some really talented and lovely designers to also check out!

Our first guest designer is Tangie-Baxter !!!

Here is my very first kit "Borders & Bits" All my kits are bright and colorful and so full of yummy goodness! You can find this kit and more in the shoppe !!

And all these lovely pieces were created by my wonderful Creative Team! Thank you girls!

Monday is the day! The Big Reveal!!! Stay Tuned!!

Hello Everyone!

I know it seems like I have been missing in action....but I promise you, I am still here!! Alot has gone on this last month. I have been very busy learning something very new...and something I have been wanting to do for awhile now. I cannot tell you just yet....But on Monday-May 24th
All will be revealed. Very exciting news and hope you will join me on Monday to share the excitement, good stuff and even some freebie stuffs!!! Have to tell you I am very nervous and excited all at the same time, this is all very new for me! So, I hope to see you Monday!!!

Strathmore Artist Papers! New Product!

These are not my photos but I have permission from Strathmore Artist Papers to show you them! I was contacted by Strathmore Artist Papers in March 2010 to have some of my art journal pages featured at their NAMTA trade shows..Attended by art retailers and suppliers to educate them on what types of art and art journalists are doing today! I am sure you can recognize a few other artists in the presentation display! I am over on the bottom left and second to the right of the computer monior screen. You can also see their new product displayed either side of the monitor. Visual Journals!!! With heavy duty papers! Because I know as an art journalist my journals take alot of abuse! LOL

These lovely Visual Journals will be shipped out to stores starting in June 2010 and will be available shortly after that! When I hear! I will let you know!

I have been very busy learning PSE PhotoshopElements and also been playing and learning in Microsoft Publisher! Never thought I would go digital! LOL I am learning quickly...so much more to learn! I am determined though...even when I get stuck with one of the programs and feel lost...eventually I will get it!

More exciting news coming SOON! Just waiting on the go-ahead! It's a secret at the moment and I can't tell you just yet! But I will, I promise! :O)
