Hello Everyone!!!!

Hi!!! My class Collage Dreams on Paper is getting close to the end...I have the most wonderful students/artists in this class!! I never thought teaching would be so much fun! Everyone's art is so amazing! They catch on very quickly! hee hee I am actually going to hate when it is over. I have enjoyed myself immensly and I am glad that they all got to share this journey with me!!

I thought I would stop in and show you my newest journal I created!! I still have other journals that need to be worked but right now I am loving this one!

Classroom is full

Hello to all!

I received an email this morning asking where my class information was, this first round is already in session and classroom is full. Sorry folks!!

We will be doing this class again in 2010 about May-ish....I will then post all the info again at that time!!

The classes have begun!! Yay! Students are all ready busy playing!



Sorry I haven't been here...between being sick and working on videos and my class just haven't had alot of time to stop in and I do apologize for that!



Hopefully I will find some time soon to get some art kicked out, it is a little busy here at home also. lol

Thought I would stop in and say a HELLO!

Just a little sneaky peek at what I am working on....Actually I am kinda stuck on it LOL I am having a bit of trouble finding images that fit the bill for where I am going with it....So hopefully soon I will find those stubborn images that are hiding from me! ;O)

The class is getting closer and closer!! I am so excited!

There are already some eager class-lings who have made their payment and sitting patiently in their desks awaiting for the class to begin!!

Border elements: Vintage books, personal imagery, vintage coupon from Marsha

Other: "dreams on paper" letters from magazines. Various pens used for journaling and details, Prismacolor pencils used for details and shading and also, wax pastel and Neo II crayons for added details.

Some art finally...

"The Wish"

Created on 8.5" x 11" heavy cardstock. This piece started out by printing out a background texture from cassandra204 on Flickr...directly onto the cardstock. No digital art here....this is purely tape transfers!! Alot of tape...alot of time...alot of mess LOL But totally worth it! I used images from: cassandra204 and autumnsensations on Flickr Collage Images. Also, images I won from Carol at AlteredExpression.com Thank you all for the lovely images you provide! And Thank you so much Carol your images are brilliantly gorgeous!! I also included some of my own personal imagery in creating this piece!

I am going to spend a little time today working on a new piece for my group Collage Play with Crowabout on Flickr! I can finally play again since now I have ink!
